This full‑day learning experience invites K–8 educators to move beyond awareness and into meaningful action around equity and culturally responsive, relevant teaching. Using unlearn’s design‑based approach, participants will explore how unconscious bias shows up in classrooms and curriculum, and learn how to intentionally design learning spaces that foster connection, dignity, and belonging.
Through conversation, reflection, and hands‑on practice, educators will deepen their understanding of themselves and their students—and turn that learning into practical classroom strategies. Participants will leave with ready‑to‑use tools, design strategies, and an action plan to help create inclusive, identity‑affirming classrooms where every student feels they belong.
