PETL, in partnership with ETFO, offers a retirement presentation for PETL members each year. This year’s session was held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The second workshop will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Members may also join retirement planning webinars hosted by the Ontario Teachers’ Insurance Plan. More information is available at https://www.otip.com/Retirement-Workshops.
In addition to the attending these workshop members should be in touch with the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board for specific information about your pension.
Members can call the Local and speak with Anne Lorimer or their Vice-President liaison if their question is about the Peel Board’s retirement process or their gratuity.
