Proposed resolutions or resolution ideas to the 2023 ETFO Annual Meeting (August 12-15 2024) must be submitted on the attached Resolution Form and received at the Peel Elementary Teachers’ Local no later than Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Resolution forms must be sent to the attention of the Chair, Anissa Soochit, via email as an attachment to: annual@etfopeel.com. Members are advised to request confirmation of receipt of their email if they have not received such confirmation within 24 hours.
Once the resolutions or concepts have been submitted, the Resolutions Sub-Committee will provide guidance to the individual or group who proposed them prior to resolutions being presented for approval at the PETL Winter General Membership Meeting on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
While the work of the Resolutions Sub-Committee is of special interest to Delegates to the ETFO Annual Meeting, any PETL member is welcome and encouraged to take part.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Resolutions Sub-Committee, please submit your name and non-board email address to Chair Anissa Soochit at annual@etfopeel.com. Please notify the Chair by Thursday, December 1, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. if you plan to participate.
The Resolutions Sub-Committee meeting will meet as needed and the Chair will send the dates to those who express interested in joining.
