Your School/Workplace Steward is a first source of contact and general information about your Union (ETFO Peel Local and ETFO Provincial). If your school/worksite does not have a Steward, login to the Member Secure Area to review the “PETL Steward Election Memo – September 2025” to learn more about the role and becoming the Steward or Alternate Steward for your location.
Any member can bring school/site-wide issues to the attention of the workplace Steward. Connect with your workplace Steward if you are unsure of whether or not your issue is a school/site-wide issues. If the issue is a school-wide issue, then your Steward will connect with the VP Liaison on behalf of staff. If the issue is determined to be an individual issue, your Steward will advise that you connect with the On Call VP at the PETL Office by email at petlrep@etfopeel.com or by phone at 905-564-7233 and asking for the On Call VP.
