Guided Into Action (AREC 2-Part Virtual Workshop)

The educational journey of equity, anti-Racism, trauma-based teaching, critical race theory, intersectionality, privilege, whiteness, and white supremacy is a personal and continuous journey for everyone. It is fair to say that no person arrives or can know everything about issues of social justice. With that in mind we want to focus on the implementation/practice of the foundational knowledge.  This workshop will focus on next steps for Ally’s in the education system. It will help people who are interested in putting theory into practice, people that want to create brave spaces for minoritize and marginalized students and colleagues.
